The book is organized into two parts. Part I introduces the reader to mapping with specific emphasis on mapping sentences, and Part II explores procedures for processing multivariate data. The book concludes with a discussion of the nature of scientific inquiry and the difference between a research question and observational questions. Introduction to Facet Theory will provide researchers with a useful technique for constructing questionnaires and for designing research instruments.
