This is my second IT Book. Each book is a collection of stories. The first book, The IT Book: Short Stories of Encouragement for Children of All Ages, includes many stories about my childhood, and there are five delightful stories by my husband, Bill Mercer. The IT Book TWO: A Time for Living, A Time for Dying, is primarily about my adulthood.It includes several stories about the ten years that Bill and I lived, explored and hiked in the mountains of Colorado.I have written these books in the hope they will bring joy and encouragement to this world. ABOUT THE AUTHORKathie Gedden, born in Des Moines, Iowa, graduated from Mundelein College in Music.She taught piano in people's homes for 25 years. She has authored three other books: Beginning Piano The Way I Teach It; The IT Book: Short Stories of Encouragement forChildren of All Ages; and My Father. She lives with her husband, Bill Mercer, inAlbuquerque, New Mexico.
