The Lawman Who Loved Her by Mallory Kane

This historical novel chronicles the struggle and evolution of an African boy born in rural colonial Kenya, to become a cosmopolitan adult. It depicts his struggles against poverty, ignorance, nepotism, bigotry and racism. While the narrative is entertaining its focus is to motivate the reader to strive and reach his own chosen goal. As the title implies, much of what you aspire to is within your grasp if determination and desire are present. Its message is universal and relevant to readers of all ages.
Kane, Mallory: - Mallory Kane has 2 great reasons for loving to write. Her mother, a librarian, taught her to love and respect books. Her father could hold listeners spellbound for hours with his stories. His oral histories are chronicled in numerous places including the Library of Congress Veterans' History Project. He was always her biggest fan.

She has published 26 books for Harlequin Intrigue. She lives in Tennessee with her Renaissance husband and two very smart cats.
