She also coedits, with Elizabeth Weed, differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies. Margaret Whitford is Reader in Modern French Thought at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London University. She is the author of Merleau Ponty's Critique of Sartre and Luce Irigaray: Philosophy in the Feminine, editor of The Irigaray Reader, and coeditor of Feminist Perspectives in Philosophy and Knowing the Difference: Feminist Perspectives in Epistemology.
