Look at Me! Look at Me! by Rose Williamson
Cammy thought that she was the most beautiful chameleon in the whole world and she didn't want to blend in like chameleons are supposed to. She wanted to stand out! Find out what happens in this vibrant moral tale about vanity and learning to be happy with who you are.
After graduating from university in the US, Rose Williamson came to the UK to complete a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia. Look at Me! Look at Me! is Rose's first published children's book and she currently lives in the US. All Doreen ever wanted to do was draw and ice skate! For school, she attended Carnegie Mellon University as a fine arts major, then moved on to New York's School of Visual Arts, where she received her degree in illustration and cartooning. In between, she sold ice cream at Disney World and ran errands for MTV. After graduation, she worked at Marvel Comics as a production assistant in the Mighty Marvel Bullpen. After a few years working alongside super heroes, she went on to do product design at Russ Berrie. Now, when she is not out on the rink with her roller derby team, she is teaching art and works as a children's book illustrator from the comfort of her home (in fuzzy slippers)... with her 5 year old daughter P-Nut and puppy Baxter Blue Cheese by her side! Some of her books include Frankly Frannie and Pinkabella. She will have two books coming out in 2015 and 2016 that she both has written and drawn. More news on that to follow!
