Neil Patrick Harris is a Tony and Emmy award-winning stage and screen actor best known for his appearances as Barney Stinson in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother and as the renowned and adored Doogie Howser, M.D. on the NBC medical drama Doogie Howser, M.D. He's been in a number of films, hosted the Tonys, Emmys, and Oscars, and has performed in a number of Broadway productions.
