Franks, Jk: - JK Franks is a writer, technologist, graphic designer and business owner. His journals and articles often cover business, technology, politics and self-development. His first published fiction novel, Catalyst: Downward Cycle is scheduled to be released Summer 2016 He was born in North Carolina and raised in the rural deep south where he developed a fierce appreciation in self-reliance and love of the outdoors. He also became an avid science fiction fan growing up surrounded by the works of Heinlein, Asimov, Bradbury and Clarke. As a deeply committed skeptic he maintains a healthy and irreverent distrust for almost everything proclaimed as truth without supporting evidence. These themes eventually formed the backdrop for his books. He is currently at work on book two of the Catalyst series as well as promoting his most recent novel. Mr. Franks now makes his home in a small town in west Georgia with his wife and family. Beyond writing his interest include cycling, cooking, music, travel and design. Writing is story telling. JK feels that is the most compelling aspect to any of his works. To weave an entertaining story with believable, intelligent characters and plausible plots are a close runner-up.
