Migrating Your SAP Data by Michael Willinger

Every ERP system implementation requires the migration of data from legacy systems. When not handled properly, this has the potential to consume a significant share of the time and resources allocated to the entire implementation project.

Fortunately, this completely revised and updated edition of our bestseller is a comprehensive practical companion for ensuring rapid and cost-effective migration projects. It illustrates the basic principles of migration, discusses the necessary preparatory measures for a project, and shows you how to migrate your data using the methods offered by your SAP systems both economically, rapidly, and without the need for programming. The new edition is up-to-date for EC 6.0 and provides you with the newest available information on eCAT and SAP Accelerated Data Migration. An ideal companion for administrators and technical consultants, this book also serves as a helpful resource for power users in specialized departments.

Topic Highlights:

  • Migration with Batch Input, eCAT, CAT, and LSMW
  • SAP Accelerated Data Migration
