Jillian York is an American teacher and writer who lives and works in Morocco. A graduate of Binghamton University with a B.A. in Sociology, specializing in North African and Middle Eastern Studies, she studied Arabic at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, as part of her degree course. She currently teaches English as a foreign language at the American Language Center of Meknes.
