My Father's World is a memorial volume celebrating the life of Dr. Reuben G. Bullard and it focuses on the archaeology and history of the Mediterranean world. The essays in this volume are all written by former students of Dr. Bullard, and the diverse range of topics highlights his broad interests in geology, archaeology, and biblical studies. Bullard was a long time Professor of Geology and Archaeology at Cincinnati Christian University. He pioneered the field of Archaeological Geology in the 1960s at Tell Gezer. My Father's World, edited by John D. Wineland, Mark Ziese, and James Estep is a worthy tribute to the life and career of their teacher, Reuben G. Bullard (d. 2004), who sought and succeeded in changing the lives of his students by his passion for learning about his Father's world and his devotion to God's Word. Mark Ziese is Professor of Old Testament at Cincinnati Christian University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the author of the College Press NIV Commentary on Joshua (2008). James Riley Estep Jr. is Professor of Christian Education at Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois. He is the author of C.E: The Heritage of Christian Education (2003), Management Essentials for Christian Ministries (2005), and A Theology for Christian Education (2008).
