After the rapid success of the US military during Operation Desert Storm, the US clandestine services exploded and caused the formation of dozens of Government Agencies focused on human intelligence gathering. Chris Adams was recruited into clandestine services, shortly after Desert Storm and after twenty-five years of service, he's not allowed to acknowledge the actual nature of his service or even mention the name of the agency where he was employed. Receiving multiple citations for his service, many of which are so deeply classified the actual awards remain locked inside the White House. Almost all of the missions Chris was involved with throughout his career weren't allowed to even be documented, due to the Freedom of Information Act, for fear of retribution by US Allies should they become aware of the missions he was sanctioned by the Government to undertake. Chris amassed a tremendous fortune during his life. Much of his wealth was made in the tech boom of the late 90's, while the subsequent bust of the tech bubble worked to catapult Chris' wealth into the billions. Spending his entire career traveling the world, Chris now spends his retirement surfing the waves and relaxing on the beach of his own private island in the South Pacific. In an alternate reality, Chris is a mystery writer and lives with his wife and three children in Round Rock, Texas.
