Nostradamus by Ian Wilson

NOSTRADAMUS: THE EVIDENCE is intended to fall into neither the pro-prophecy nor pro-sceptic category. Rather it is intended to provide what appears to be almost entirely lacking in the English language: a thoroughly serious and objective biographical study of just who Michel de Nostredame was as a historical individual. Likewise it is intended seriously to evaluate the mass psychology that lies behind the whole industry that for centuries has become devoted to interpreting his prophecies and to examine the veracity of the interpretation of his writings.
