This book provides scriptural references to many situations we commonly experience. God's Word is His knowledge in print that when applied creates wisdom for living. His Word becomes alive to provide the proper guidance we need to overcome circumstances as we function through life. It is not a common reflex to be led by the Word of God. We must choose to follow after Him by acting in faith rather than be directed by our feelings only. Choosing to go in a direction that is unnatural can be frightening. Once you begin to practice obedience, it gradually becomes easier. As we move in faith and proceed under His guidance we learn that our circumstances will begin to change as well as our character and trust in Him. Obedience is a most critical area that humans shy away from because we have the wrong idea of its purpose. About the Author - www.DougPoole.net Doug Poole spent his life growing up on a farm in Oklahoma and then moved to Wichita, Kansas at age twelve. Graduating from Wichita High School South, he then went to college at the University of Oklahoma. The Marine Corps, Okinawa, and Vietnam occupied his time until getting married in 1971. His 42-years of marriage caused him to turn from his single thinking and become involved with a family and the Lord. His life on the farm growing up and his godly grandparents proved to be foundational in his development for what was coming in the future. Now remarried, a season of remembrance and biblical principles have finally persuaded him to seek a new adventure.
