Jo Barnes studied English at Leeds University and for 25 years taught children and young people from ages 3 to 19 in London schools. Then she became a writer. She had an extensive knowledge of children's books, partly because she enjoyed reading them so much! She knew exactly what children liked because she regularly read to her own as well as those in school. Odd Fox Out is the first of Jo's books to be published, and will be followed by two more in 2024.
