This book is packed with a selection of beautifully designed cross stitch patterns to suit all skill levels. The themes include flowers, cupcakes, summer days, wedding and baby samplers, afternoon tea, butterflies, and floral garlands. Many of the designs can be easily personalized by adding names and dates using the alphabet charts available. The author’s love of nature and her sense of color have been lovingly captured within its pages. Inspired by her home and garden, the pretty cross stitch projects within this book are designed to fill a home with delightful stitching.
Jayne Schofield was born in Morecambe, by the sea in Lancashire, and after many years of travelling she came back to this area to raise her family. She now works as a freelance illustrator / designer from her studio at the back of her home. She produces her illustrations using a combination of traditional and digital collage techniques and mixes textures, type and imagery to create playful and fun art. She sews and creates appliquü¾Ž–”¼ and textile designs, and has written 2 books on cross stitch and needlepoint designing.
