William T. O’Donohue is a licensed clinical psychologist, professor of psychology and adjunct professor in the Department of Philosophy at University of Nevada, Reno, and a faculty member of the National Judicial College. He is widely recognized in the field for his proposed innovations in mental health service delivery, in treatment design and evaluation, and in knowledge of empirically supported cognitive behavioral therapies. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement for Behavior Therapy and served on the Board of Directors of this organization. Dr. O’Donohue has published over 50 books and 150 articles in scholarly journals and book chapters. For the past 14 years, he has been director of a free clinic that treats children who have been sexually abused and adults who have been sexually assaulted. Eric Ross Levensky recently completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno, and is currently serving as coordinator of the Southwest Node of the Clinical Trials Network (CTN), a NIDA-funded multisite project evaluating the effectiveness of known efficacious behavioral, pharmacological, and integrated interventions across a broad range of community-based treatment settings and diverse patient populations. A secondary goal of the CTN is to disseminate effective interventions to physicians, providers, and their patients to improve the quality of treatment throughout the country. Dr. Levensky’s primary area of research interest is inthe development, evaluation, and dissemination of treatment adherence interventions for patients with chronic illness, as well as examining psychosocial aspects of chronic illness management. Dr. Levensky’s current work centers primarily on understanding and promoting treatment adherence in HIV patients, and he recently received a grant from the National Institutes of Health to conduct research in this area. Dr. Levensky has clinical interest in forensic psychology, as well as the practice, application, and supervision ofMotivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. He has co-edited one book and authored 11 papers and book chapters on these topics.
