Malachy Doyle lives in Ireland on a tiny island off the coast of Donegal, with his wife, cats, dogs, hens and ducks. Before writing children's books, he worked in advertising and as a teacher for children with special needs. He is the best-selling and award-winning author of many books, from picture books to teen fiction, including Georgie and Who is Jesse Flood? for older readers. Christopher Corr studied art, graphics and illustration at art school in Manchester before completing his Masters at the Royal College in London. He loves old cities, particularly ones where old meets new such as New York, Delhi, Shanghai and Berlin. Colour is important to Christopher and he is fascinated by how it affects people.
