She has written and edited newspaper and magazine articles, feature stories and books and is most proud of her work developing "Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority" by Tom Burrell and a history of reporters covering the Civil Rights Movement. She is married to Michael I. Days, editor of the Philadelphia Daily News.
