Born in London, despite brief trips into the countryside, Jane has always been a city girl at heart. After studying History at St Hilda's College, Oxford, she entered the allegedly glamorous world of television as tea and coffee coordinator for Nickelodeon UK. As Jane progressed to researcher and then assistant producer, her contracts took her to MTV and finally to the BBC. Having been writing since 2000, Jane is now working on her sixth novel.
