He also is the founder of the Activist Angler, a website devoted to promoting and protecting recreational fishing, and a Senior Writer for B.A.S.S. Publications, specializing in conservation and environmental issues. In addition, the Missouri native is winner of the prestigious Homer Circle Fishing Communicator Award. He has fished and photographed wildlife in Africa, South America, and Central America, as well as North America.
