Although the 1994-96 edition of THE WRITER'S DIRECTORY claims that he died in 1993, Brian Stableford is alive and well and living in Reading. His recent science fiction novels include the ASGARD trilogy, and he was a contributing editor to THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF SCIENCE FICTION.
