We Love Grandma, written and illustrated by a mother and her two children, was inspired by expereinces with their own furry friends and fabulous grandmothers. The unconditional love and acceptance between a grandmother and her grandchildren and the unconditional love between a child and their dog are parallelled in this short and silly story.

The story line was developed over the course of a year as the Russell family pondered what life would be like with a dog named Grandma. While the Russell Family considered naming their own family pet, Grandma, they ultimately landed on the name, Maui. The sketches in this book were completed digitally by hand by mom, Brandi, and the color was added to the illustrations by Brandi, Kyler and Elle.

This book would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves their grandma and their family dog unconditionally.
