ABOUT VDOR Award-winning author and native Philadelphian Vernard Vdor Dorsey is a retired Coast Guardsman pursuing his post career in literary fiction. Since year 2000, Vdor has been ambitious in following the footsteps of the Honorable Alex Haley, author of the 80's hit series Roots and Queen and also Coast Guardsman (retired). While attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated in 2006, Vdor finished and released his first self-published literary fiction titled Karma: A Philadelphia Fable in 2008. But the book was never promoted due to content issues. However, in 2012 Vdor released his second published work, a homeless success story titled Silent Hero: Another Philadelphia Fable which inspired a homelessness documentary featuring Grammy award winning R&B artist Dwele, and other R&B artists including: Sy Smith, Choklate, Monica Blaire, J. Tait, music producer ZO! of The Foreign Exchange, and Hip-Hop artist Miz Korona from the hit Eminem Movie, 8 Mile. n 2016, Vdor has significantly raised the bar to bring you his most anticipated work yet titled Gypsy Lane: A Love Drama featuring the sultry, intimate chapter Obey inspired by the song Obey by Dwele from his Greater Than One album. In an effort to become the next literary success story out of Philadelphia as in the likes of Omar Tyree and Teri Woods, Vdor has crafted this novel to be an even more exciting read than 50 Shades.
