" Ever since his teens, Rob Reichenfeld has witnessed the evolution of snowboarding firsthand--from the original ""snurfer"" boards of the 1970s to the high-tech carving boards of today. At resorts in Austria, Switzerland, and Canada, he gained extensive mountain knowledge and teaching experience as a skiing and snowboarding instructor. Today Rob is a freelance writer and photographer of action sports. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and windsurfing. Anna Bruechert is highly experienced in teaching and writing about sport. She served as a ski instructor for 5 years in Australia and Switzerland, including extensive work with children. She has been an avid snowboarder since 1990. Currently Anna works as a freelance editor and writer. In her leisure, she enjoys horseback riding, snowboarding, and skiing. In addition to Snowboarding, this husband-and-wife team have coauthored books on alpine skiing and windsurfing. "
