The second of three spectaculous Misadventures, set in the magical and darkly hilarious world of Danny Cloke, a fabulous new character. This strikingly original series is fast, furious, bizarre, bedazzling and laugh-out-loud funny! Synopsis Danny's real-life wicked stepmother is back, and this time she's even meaner than before. She places a Zero Hex on Danny, making him act in the most shameful and embarrassing ways: revealing his underwear in public and cavorting about like a giddy goat. Even worse, the Hex threatens to destroy everyone Danny loves and give him a spell behind bars. In order to save his friends and family, and himself, Danny has to battle with the terrifying Hobblegobs from the spirit world of Gloom, as well as S.L.A.Y. (Society of Librarians Against Youth). Danny needs all the wild magical help he can get from his best friends, Imogen and the ghostly Cyril Spectre.
