PETER SPRING is a financial consultant by training. As well as having served in the Territorial Army in an Intelligence role, Peter has a BA in Modern History from Royal Holloway College and an MA in Medieval Art History from the Courtauld Institute. He lives in south-west London. His previous books with Pen & Sword are Great Walls and Linear Barriers and Sir John Tiptoft – ‘Butcher of England’.
