First it takes children back to Elijah's time and the gripping God contest between the God of the Bible, Yahweh, and the false god Baal. Then it fast-forwards to a different mountain and another God contest at an empty tomb.

TGBC's Editorial Director is Carl Laferton. He is the author of Original Jesus, Promises Kept, and The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross, as well as the God's Word For You series' series editor. He worked as a journalist, a teacher, and a preacher in Hull before coming to TGBC. Carl has two children, Benjamin and Abigail, with his wife Lizzie. He went to Oxford University to study history.
