Demetri Martin made a name for himself as a stand-up comedian. He was a writer for Conan O'Brien's Late Night, a regular performer on Jon Stewart's Daily Show, and the host of his own television show, Important Things with Demetri Martin. Martin has acted in a number of movies, including Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock. This Is a Book and Point Your Face at This, two of his works, were both New York Times bestsellers.
