Thunder Paws by Megan M Jones

In this inspiring tale of friendship, bravery and heroism, one lazy canine, Sassy, leaps into action when a fellow pooch is in trouble. Join her as she unwittingly dons a cape and becomes your new favourite hero, Thunder Paws!
Megan Jones is a 14-year-old from Cardiff with a passion for reading, writing and drawing. When she is not on the River Taff practicing her rowing, she can often be found curled up in a hammock with a good book or a writer's notepad. Thunder Paws was first drafted when Megan was just eleven years old and was inspired by her family dog: a huge Newfoundland-poodle cross called Sassy, who made such a noise stomping around the house as a puppy she earned the nickname 'Thunder Paws'. Sadly, much-loved Sassy passed away in 2019. However, her spirit and memory now live on through the adventures of Thunder Paws! Head over to Megan's Instagram and Facebook pages @thunder_paws_the_book for more information and updates. We would love to hear what you think of Thunder Paws.
