Tickle, Tickle! Itch, Twitch! by Julie Olson

When a feather lands in Mouse’s paws, he has an idea for some wily fun! He sneaks up on Gus the groundhog and…TICKLE, TICKLE! ITCH, TWITCH! Gus has GOTTA GOTTA scratch his back. And that’s just the beginning of one itchy problem after another. Follow Gus as he tries hopelessly to scratch his back with a snake, a porcupine, and an alligator. Cheerful illustrations rendered in watercolor and digital media add to this groundhog’s preposterous predicament.
“A mischievous mouse plays a trick on a slumbering groundhog…The animals in Olson’s watercolor and digital illustrations are certifiably cute and poor Gus’s contortions as he seeks relief are undeniably funny” —Kirkus
Julie Olson was born and raised in Maryland—the sixth of nine kids. She always wanted to be different from her brothers and sisters, so while they became doctors, lawyers, electrical engineers, or statisticians, Julie dreamed of becoming an illustrator. Now, she has three children of her own and illustrates children’s books from her home studio. Her most recent books include There’s Always a Way, Annie McRae by Brad Wilcox and Christmas Love by Candy Chand. Julie and her family live in Spanish Fork, Utah.
