A Town Called Terror by Steve Niles

Terror is a Town of Monsters, its boundaries hidden from the world. You can only find Terror if you’ve been welcomed, but it may not let you leave. Henry West escaped Terror, rebuilding his life and true happiness in the human world. When his mother disappears, his father forces him back home. Old rivalries and wars resurface as he begins to unravel the mystery. A Town Called Terror is a family drama of monstrous proportions. From cutting-edge horror creators STEVE NILES (30 Days of Night) and SZYMON KUDRANSKI (SPAWN, The Punisher). Collects A TOWN CALLED TERROR #1-6

Steve Niles is one of the writers responsible for reviving horror comics, and he was dubbed a emerging star by Fangoria Magazine. Clive Barker, Harlan Ellison, and Richard Matheson's books have all been adapted by him, notably Matheson's I Am Legend. With the IDW vampire comic 30 Days of Night, which was made into a film in 2007 and has spawned countless spin-off volumes, Niles revitalized the horror comics genre. Niles worked on the miniseries BATMAN: GOTHAM COUNTY LINE with Scott Hampton in 2006. The writer also collaborated with artist Justiniano on a miniseries titled THE CREEPER, which reinvented Steve Ditko's classic titular character.
