Rancid rat hairs I'd been spending so much money lately, I had none left in the bank Even worse, when my grandfather found out, he sent me off to Moldy Manor. There, miserly Uncle Stingysnout would teach me to be better at saving. How terrible Could I learn to be less wasteful without going crazy?

Geronimo Stilton, Rattus Emeritus of Mousomorphic Literature and Neo-Ratonic Comparative Philosophy, was born in New Mouse City, Mouse Island. He is the editor of The Rodent's Gazette, the most widely circulated daily newspaper in New Mouse City. For his scoops on The Curse of the Cheese Pyramid and The Hunt for Sunken Treasure, Stilton was awarded the Ratitzer Award. He also won the Anderson Award for Personality of the Year in 2001. One of his finest-selling books received the 2002 eBook Award for best ratling electronic book in the world.

He won the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2006, and the Cartoomics 'Beyond Comics' medal in 2008. His works have appeared in publications all around the world. Stilton enjoys collecting ancient cheese rinds in his spare time. Yet it is authoring books about his renowned escapades that he appreciates the most!
