"Specifically designed for confident readers who feel ready to tackle chapter books… The Not So Little Princess is still a little bit naughty" -- Katie Clapham * Guardian *
"Illustrations are excellent and the words provided cleverly draw on the earlier series" * BFK *
"Young readers who are striving for independence will be delighted to find a book that they can read for themselves - especially one featuring a favourite character." * School Library Journal *
"This is a perfect extension to the well-loved picture books about the rude but lovable young royal. With short chapters, fabulously funny colour illustrations on every page, and plenty of insolence, this series of early readers is sure to be a roaring success." * BookTrust *
"Delightful. Colour illustrations are bright and wonderfully expressive and the story as humorous as ever." * Carousel *
Wendy Finney (Author) Wendy Finney was born and educated in London. She left school at seventeen to join in with the 'swinging sixties' and got her first job with the publisher Victor Gollancz. She then worked for a construction company where she taught herself to draw house plans, eventually setting up her own building design and planning business. She has three grown-up children and lives in Wales. Tony Ross (Illustrator) Tony Ross has been illustrating books for 50 years, and has been published all over the world. He is perhaps best known for his much-loved Little Princess series, which has been adapted for TV and is currently showing on Channel 5's Milkshake, and for his collaboration on David Walliams’ best-selling children’s books. Tony’s books have been shortlisted for the The Laugh Out Loud Book Awards (Slug Needs a Hug) and the Kate Greenaway (Dr Xargle's Book of Earth Tiggers), and Tadpole’s Promise won the Silver Medal Smarties Prize. He was named as the best-selling illustrator in the UK for three years in a row, and he is the UK’s libraries' most-borrowed illustrator. He lives in Macclesfield.
