Attorney Zoie Taylor thinks that a move back to her hometown of Washington, DC, will make her life simpler. She gives up her high-powered position with a New York City law firm to work for a philanthropic organization. This change allows Zoie to spend more time with her daughter, best friend, and ailing grandmother.
