Regardless of species, the male gender has always strived for dominance. Like a lion establishing territorial domain, something innate within a man impedes his readiness to submit. An alpha male drive obscures a man's ability to completely surrender to the sovereignty of God in worship. When distractions, defenses and deterences impede a man's genuine and relational worship of God, it produces deficits within the family, community and body of believers. But when a man is able to break through the obstacles, the abundant resources of heaven are available to bless his family, career and personal life.
