Anya Bast lives in the country with her Belgian husband, their tornado toddler daughter, and an excessive number of cats, dogs, and rabbits. Anya has been telling stories since she was a small child (much to her mother's chagrin). She's overjoyed to be able to make a living off of it. She grew up in one of the colder states and enjoys ice skating and hockey. Crows, ravens, and birds of prey pique her interest.

She enjoys studying Eastern philosophy, Celtic mythology, dreaming, and shamanic, and weaves what she learns into her paranormal novels on occasion. She works as a data base editor and a French translator part-time.
