Véronique Vial is a French actress who relocated to Los Angeles in 1989. A Day in the Life of Hollywood (HarperCollins, 1991) featured her first celebrity pictures. Vial was the exclusive photographer for the renowned circus troupe Cirque du Soleil, and her debut monograph, Cirque du Soleil (Rizzoli, 1993), was a huge success; her second book on the popular circus was published in 1999. Guys Before 10 a.m. is her first novel. (Beyond Words/PGW, 1996) was a worldwide success.

Vial's photography has been shown at the prestigious Visa Pour l'Image in Perpignan, and she is professionally represented by Creative Photographers, Inc. Fahey/Klein, a well-known gallery in New York.
