About Mike Figgis

Mike Figgis was born in Carlisle in 1948. He was a musician and a member of theatre group The People Show prior to his career as a film director, which began with Stormy Monday (1988) and includes Internal Affairs (1990), Leaving Las Vegas (1995), One Night Stand (1997) and Timecode (2000).
