Alison Bowyer is a top show business journalist who has worked for national newspapers for many years. She started working on Fleet Street at the age of 19, as a reporter working on the Sunday Mirror and the Mail on Sunday. She later joined the staff of the Sun as a feature writer before going freelance in 1990. She is a regular contributor to numerous national newspapers and magazines, writing about some of the biggest names in show business. She has also written biographies of Noel Edmonds, Dawn French, Delia Smith (Deutsch) and is currently writing the first biography of Liz Hurley which will be published by Andre Deutsch in April 2003.
