The author of seven books for children, including the teens-thrillers Time Breaking and Running, Barbara lives and works in Somerset. A hands-on grandmother, she is passionate about the role of books in today's society, and is frequently invited into schools to talk about creative writing. Charley Belles has loved to draw from the moment she could hold a pencil. Being dyslexic she would sketch to express her imagination, peppering her fantasy pictures with ethereal magic. A Fishy Tail is the product of this amazing imagination and is her first book.
