Bernadette Tynan has 12 years experience of teaching Gifted and Talented children. She has been a teacher and mentor for gifted children both in the UK and abroad, and Lea Advisor, Co-ordinator and Consultant for Gifted and Talented children. Most recently, her work as a Senior Lecturer at the Research Centre for Able Pupils at the Westminster Institute of Education in Oxford, involved her in research and teacher training in the field of national programmes for gifted and talented children in Britain. She holds degrees in Education from the Universities of Cambridge and London and currently works in the development of teaching and learning materials for teachers and children across the curriculum and key stages.
