Brenda May Williams lives in the beautiful South Wales valley of Nelson with her husband Jonathan. She grew up In the city of Glasgow, but says she still considers herself a wee Scottish lass at heart. She says that she was inspired to write this book by her love of unusual curiosity shops and has always wondered what could happen if those shops had a magic fairy, and what could happen if that fairy made the occupants come to life.
