George Dawes Green was born in Idaho, raised on an island off the coast of Georgia, and subsequently attended the University of Georgia. He is now a journalist, scriptwriter and feature-writer. THE CAVEMAN'S VALENTINE was his first novel, followed by THE JUROR, which was also made into a major film.
