Books by Glenn Dakin
Glenn began his writing career as a comics creator, devising the humour strip Temptation, and the autobiographical character Abe. His work appeared in cult UK magazines such as Escape and Deadline, and a collection of Temptation was published in 1991. He went on to work for Marvel Comics, writing for the superhero series Plasmer and Clan Destine. He also created the cartoon strip Robot Crusoe, which ran for eight years in the Funday Times. He has had several children's stories and novels published, including The Frogspawn Code, and has scripted children's TV programmes Bob the Builder and Shaun the Sheep (and he won an Emmy, along with his co-writers, for an episode!). A regular contributor to children's magazines, he has written a comic strip version of the life of Roald Dahl and a Spider-Man series. Candle Man was his first novel with Egmont. Glenn lives in Cambridge with his wife and son.
