Books by Lisa Alther

Lisa Alther was born in 1944 in Kingsport, Tennessee. She has published six novels, one novella, a memoir, and a new narrative history of the Hatfields and the McCoys, entitled Blood Feud (2012.) Alther has taught at St. Michael's College in Vermont and at East Tennessee State University, USA. She divides her time among Tennessee, Vermont, and New York City.
