Martin Rowe was educated at Oxford University and New York University, where he gained a Master's degree in Religious Studies. He is the founding editor of New York City-based magazine Satya, and editor of The Way of Compassion: Vegetarianism, Environmentalism, Animal Advocacy and Social Justice. He lives in Brooklyn, New York. Nicaea is his first novel.
