When she's not writing, Mary Reed is usually hiking, climbing, cycling, paddling, or hatching plans for her next outdoor adventure. Although she has trekked as far afield as Guatemala's highlands and Nepals' Annapurna region, some of her favorite places in the world are a day's drive from her home in Athens, Ohio.
