Nick Sandler is a freelance development chef whose love affair with Duchy Originals products began when he created a range of soups and casseroles for them. His work requires him to dream up new dishes and establish the best ways to process and preserve them for delis and supermarkets. Johnny Acton is an entrepreneurial writer/journalist whose career has included driving a mini-cab and writing obituaries for The Times. Brought up on a farm, Johnny is a keen advocate of sustainable and organic farming and he firmly believes in the importance of local, seasonal produce. Together, Johnny and Nick have written three books for Kyle Cathie Ltd - Soup, Mushroom and Preserved.
