Patricia Thayer was born in Muncie, Indiana, the second of eight children. She attended Ball State University before heading to California. A longtime member of RWA, Patricia has authored fifty books. She's been nominated for the Prestige RITA award and winner of the RT Reviewer's Choice award. She loves traveling with her husband, Steve, calling it story research. When she wants some time with her guy, they escape to their mountain cabin and sit on the deck and let the world race by. Previously a teacher, pig farmer, and builder (among other things), Meredith Webber turned to writing medical romances when she decided she needed a new challenge. Once committed to giving it a "real" go she joined writers' groups, attended conferences and read every book on writing she could find. A late bloomer, she came to fiction writing after her children were nearly grown. Now she battles the empty nest by writing stories which always include a romance and often medicne, but always stories straight from her heart. She is a Southern California native, a woman of faith, a dog lover, and a curious traveller.
