More on Peter James
Peter James’ books have sold over 20 million copies worldwide and been translated into 38 languages. Five of his crime novels from the ‘Grace’ series have been adapted for the stage by dramatist Shaun McKenna. In 2021, the miniseries, Grace, was released by ITV, with the title character being played by John Simm.
James’ has been the recipient of a huge number of awards, including the CWA Diamond Dagger in 2016. A well-known personality in England’s East Sussex community, Peter James is a patron to several charitable organisations and social services, including the Sussex Police Charity Trust and Sussex Crime Stoppers. James is an avid social media user, regularly interacting with his fans, who are often teased with the process of writing and snippets of ideas for his new books.
